Legacy of Global Materials Network
Dr. Tiwari established the International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM), Sweden, in the year 2010. In the last decade, through this organizations, Dr. Tiwari has established what has grown into one of the largest networks of Materials Science researchers, scientists, professionals, government organizations, students, business professionals, and much more. Today, Dr. Tiwari’s organization boasts a staggering 50 thousand members from more than 140 countries all around the world.
Through IAAM, Dr. Ashutosh Tiwari launched a renowned international materials science conference – the ‘Advanced Materials Congress’ (AMC). The congress brings together the best scientific minds from across the globe and connects academia with industry. It provides them with a prestigious platform to discuss the latest trends, research, and ideas with peers from around the globe for the growth of the scientific world. So far, Dr. Tiwari has taken the AMC to countries like America, China, Sweden, India, Singapore, Australia, Finland, Turkey, and many more.
By introducing the unprecedented format of ‘Knowledge Experience at Sea’, Dr. Ashutosh Tiwari has ensured that the scientific research and discussions can be conducted without any distractions. Today, AMC is organized across the world in multiple formats, including World Congress Series, Baltic Conference Series, R&D Consortiums, Online Events, etc. It is because of the vision of Dr. Tiwari that AMC has beome one of the most popular scientific conferences and scientists from around the world look forward to attend this pestigious event.
Leading the Materials World Through the Pandemic
As the pandemic took the world by a storm, Dr. Ashutosh Tiwari ensured the flow of scientific knowledge remained intact. With IAAM, he introduced the concept of ‘Live Knowledge at Web’. Under this concept, Dr. Tiwari and his organizatiosn utilized the internet and virtual infrastructures to organize international events related to materials science. This concept served as an example for the Materials Science community to tackle COVID-19 and continue working for scientific progress and development. With this concept, Dr. Tiwari eliminated the need to travel from different places in order to share research and engage in enriching scientific conversations. All the lectures and videos conducted in these international events were also made available to IAAM’s audiences across the globe.
In further attempts to ensure seamless passage through the pandemic, Dr. Tiwari and IAAM introduced a hybrid setup to organize the Advanced Materials Congress. In order to keep offering interactive forums in materials science, engineering, and technology, IAAM organized the AMC with multiple options for attendees – 1) online attendance through internet, 2) onsite physical attendance at the venue, and 3) on demand presence as per convenience. By creating an interactive community even in the time of pandemic, Dr. Tiwari has reaffirmed his place as a global leader and ensured a smooth passage of the scientific community through the pandemic.

As part of his organization, Institute of Advance Materials, IAAM, Sweden, Dr. Ashutosh Tiwari has constituted a wide network of R&D labs and Decentralized facilities. Through these facilities, Dr. Tiwari facilitates interdisciplinary participation of global researchers and scientists in Translational Research & Innovation activities. These facilities help coordinate projects and bring together experts from different areas to offer a simulated environment for collabroation.
